Precious Moment.......

Thought I would share a special moment with you all. Today, I loaded my iPod with Christmas music. I start listening to Christmas music as early as possible. One of my favorite songs is 100,000 Angels. If you haven’t heard it before then you are in for a treat. It makes me cry (in a good way) every time I hear it.

So here I am, listening to this song and crying. My little Chihuahua, Patti Marie comes up to me and starts kissing the tears away from my eyes. How precious is that? She has done this before when I have been upset. She will always kiss the tears away and make me feel better. So if anyone is ever in doubt that there are angels among us all you have to do is look no further than your own home.

Angels are indeed all around us masquerading as other things. Those other things just might have furry bodies and four legs. I, for one, am always surrounded by love filled angels. How blessed I truly am. :o)

Happy Birthday D'Angelo & Macy Gray

Happy Birthday D'Angelo and Macy Gray! My how times flies. I rescued D'Angelo 6 years ago today. He was a year old which makes him 7 years old today. My husband rescued Macy Gray over 8 years ago in October so we created a duel birthday for them both. Macy is believed to be 13 years old. She still looks and acts like a puppy. I can't imagine life without my sweet babies. They are truly the loves of my life. Happy Birthday D'Angelo and Macy Gray! Mommy loves you both soooooo very much! :-)

Cold Stunned Sea Turtles Saved!

Awwwww! This makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! I love sea turtles. Did you know that they are endangered? They are very much so.

9/11 Remembrance

Today marks the 10th anniversary of one of America's greatest tragedies. The Park Avenue Chihuahua Crew would like to take a moment to recognize the many families who suffered loss due to the tragedies of 9/11 and give a special recognition and thanks to the men, women and service dogs who risked their lives to help save victims of the World Trade Center attacks. May we all find a quiet moment for peace and remembrance today.
